Co-Ed GOALIE CLINIC
Has your athlete ever expressed interest in trying goalie? Are they an experienced goalie looking to improve their skills?
We are delighted to offer a Co-ed clinic led by Abby Sedney and Jay Stewart. Both Abbey and Jay are passionate about developing goalies.
You can enroll your goalie for either one or all three clinics. The clinics will complement each other, providing a comprehensive approach to skill development.

GOALIE CLINIC
Skill Levels: Beginner (ages 1st-5th grade), Intermediate (5th-8th grade) – will move a 5th grader up if skill allows.
9a-11a (Beginner) – Maximum 5 participants
1p-3p (Intermediate) – Maximum 4 or 5 participants
Goalie gear will be supplied for goalies that do not have gear!
Beginners: Beginners are classified as brand new goalies, or goalies with less than 1 year (includes Fall and Spring) of experience or any goalie 9 or under – exceptions available with coaches recommendation.
Session 1: The basics
- Stance, Arc, Technique
- Tennis Ball Reaction Drills
- Live Shooting Drills
- Head movement with stick (tying string to helmet and stick)
Intermediate: Intermediate goalies are classified as goalie’s with game experience for more than 1 year (includes fall and spring) – Skill Levels will be verified with team head coaches.
Session 1: Refresher, Skills Assessment and Good Habit Building
- Form Assessment “walk the line”
- Agility Warm Up
- Tennis ball reaction drills (shots from behind – need some rebounders or somewhere with a big enough wall for all participants
- Live shots with direct feedback
o Saves w/ player stick
o Power + Speed Drill
o Additional Items depending on skill level of the group.
