Boys Fall Lacrosse 2026
Grades 1–8
The fall season is one of the best times of the year for player development.
Without the pressure of league standings or championship games, athletes have the opportunity to focus on improving their individual skills, building confidence, and simply enjoying the game. Our Fall Development Program is designed to provide meaningful instruction while remaining flexible enough for athletes participating in football, soccer, hockey, mountain biking, and other fall activities.
Whether your player is returning from the spring season or is newer to the game, this program is a great way to continue developing and prepare for the 2027 spring season.
Players can expect:
• Two one-hour practices each week focused on stick skills, shooting, dodging, defense, small-sided games, and lacrosse IQ.
• A fun, positive environment that emphasizes effort, improvement, teamwork, and a love for the game.
• Flexible attendance for multi-sport athletes. We understand that many players have other commitments during the fall and encourage them to participate whenever their schedules allow.
Our 3rd–8th grade teams will also have opportunities to participate in several fall play days and Sixes events, including:
• El Jebel Play Day
• Northern Colorado Sixes Day
• Steamboat Springs Sixes Days
Our 1st/2nd grade team will participate in the El Jebel Play Day and Northern Colorado Sixes Day. This group will not participate in the Steamboat Springs Sixes events.
These events provide players with valuable game experience against other Colorado programs while introducing them to the fast-paced and exciting Sixes format.
Our goal is simple: continue growing the game in Grand County while helping every player become more skilled, more confident, and better prepared for the spring season.
We can’t wait to see everyone back on the field this fall!
EQUIPMENT
Equipment rentals will be available for players who need gear. We'll hold an equipment handout prior to the start of practices and will communicate the exact date and details as the season approaches.
UNIFORMS
A limited number of FVLC uniforms will be available for purchase on a first come, first served basis. Once those are sold, we'll gladly place additional uniform orders; however, they may not arrive before our first games. If that's the case, we'll work with your family to make sure your player has a uniform to wear, including borrowing one from another FVLC player if needed.
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
Partial and full scholarships are available for this season. If you’re interested in applying for a scholarship, please use the discount code: Scholarship during your registration process.
